The Impact Network was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 2010 but began broadcasting nationally on the Dish Network in 2011, and has subsequently grown into the largest 100% privately owned African American, faith-based TV network now with distribution on DirecTV, Comcast Xfinity, Charter Spectrum, Verizon Fios, Frontier, Cable Bahamas, Cox and Altice USA.

Broadcasting in over 80 million homes, Impact endeavors to be the foremost innovative inspirational network both locally and abroad.

As a non-profit organization, the Impact Network seeks to connect with a diverse coalition of organizations and partnerships to improve and impact lives within the urban community and beyond. Holistically enriching lives spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally and financially.

Impact Network aims to not only show positive images, but embodies its name “IMPACT” by creating real change in the world in real ways, through establishing community programs, services and establishments that meet the needs of the underserved, under heard and underprivileged.

Black Southern Belle

Mrs. Michiel Perry, 32, is a South Carolina girl who loves all things Southern and stylish. With a little inspiration, while planning her wedding in Charleston, S.C., and decorating her first home in Maryland, Mrs. Perry was inspired to develop a lifestyle brand focused on African-American women with a Southern connection called Black Southern Belle.

With her digital lifestyle brand Black Southern Belle, Mrs. Perry wanted to create an online and offline resource of lifestyle inspiration for African-American women in the South. In 2015, Mrs. Perry and her team expanded Black Southern Belle and developed an editorial division, ambassador program, online store, and the Black Southern Belle Collective. Black Southern Belle has been featured in numerous outlets, including HGTV, Essence, Black Enterprise, Draper James, Apartment Therapy, Brides, Today, Levo League, AOL Lifestyle Collective, and more. We have also done marketing campaigns with Pure Leaf, American Express, Gildan, Walmart, and various Fortune 500 companies.
